Back to Norwegian Version/    Norsk 		 Hotel Drim - A quiet balcony  with friends in late warm nights
Last year this place was often packed with people, unfortunately this year it was mostly empty.  Again, when peace comes, these chairs will be filled.

Along the Drim river through Struga there are many inexpensive og and good places to eat.

The Drim, with its sparkling clean water is dividing Struga in two. It's a river of lifegiving  joy and excitement for young and old. Jumping and diving from the many bridges is a lot of hilarity and fun.

 The Beach just outside the hotel is full of life, all day, from early morning.  We used to start the day in the Ohrid Lake  at 8 o'clock

There is no other town like Struga", says the folk song praising the second largest town on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Struga is the birthplace of the distinguished Macedonian poets and educators, the brothers Dimitrija and Konstantin Miladinov. It is also the capital of world poetry: poets from around the globe have been coming each year in late August since 1962 for the Struga Poetry Evenings festival.(2)    (Ante Popovski is chairman of the Festival)
